Eugene Fife was engaged by BC Partners as a senior advisor in 2010 and brings more than 30 years of executive management, consulting and operations experience. Within the BC Partners portfolio, Mr Fife serves as a director on the boards of Accudyne Industries and Suddenlink, and serves as chair of the Audit Committee at Suddenlink. Previously, Mr. Fife was non-executive Chairman of the Eclipsys Corporation, a leading provider of medical information software used by more than 1,500 healthcare facilities; and served as director of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc., a practice management and electronic health record technology provider who subsequently acquired Eclipsys; Caterpillar, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbine and Office Depot. He is also the founding principal of Vawter Capital, LLC, a private investment firm. Previously, Mr. Fife was a general partner of Goldman Sachs & Co., where he served as a member of the management committee and as chairman of Goldman Sachs International. During his 26 years with Goldman Sachs, Mr. Fife played a pivotal role establishing Goldman Sachs in Europe where he spent 10 years based out of London. He was also instrumental in establishing Goldman Sachs presence in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He remains a senior director of Goldman Sachs. He has participated in a number of forums and conferences regarding business ethics and corporate audit and governance issues.

Randy Thurman was engaged by BC Partners as a senior advisor in 2015 and brings over 30 years experience in executive leadership, M&A and corporate governance. As a CEO, his background has focused in the healthcare technology industry specifically biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and clinical diagnostics. Additionally, he brings a global perspective having started and operated businesses in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Early in his career he was Director and President of Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals. Subsequently, he became Chairman and CEO of Corning Life Sciences and most recently was founder, Chairman and CEO of VIASYS Healthcare Inc. Since VIASYS was sold in 2007, he has extensive experience working with private equity firms. He is currently Executive Chairman of Presbia PLC and a director of Allscripts Inc. Randy has served on numerous boards, published a number of articles on corporate governance and is expert in shareholder advocacy. Prior to his corporate career he served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force.

Edward Kangas was engaged by BC Partners as a senior advisor in January 2010 and brings a deep network and understanding across a broad range of industries. He currently serves as the Lead Director of the Board at Tenet Healthcare Corporation, the second largest healthcare provider in the U.S; Non-Executive Chairman of the Board at United Technologies Corp., a diversified company that provides high technology products and services to the building and aerospace industries, and is a board member at both Intuit, Inc., a software company focusing on consumer and small business financial products and Intelsat; the largest communication satellite company in world. He was Lead Director at EDS playing a key role in the sale of the company to HP. Previously, Mr Kangas served as Global Chairman and CEO of Deloitte from 1989 to 2000. During his 33 years at Deloitte, he served in various professional capacities, including being the Global CEO of Deloitte Consulting. He was one of the chief architects of the 1989 global combination of Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Touche Ross. Ed received his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in business administration from the University of Kansas. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Leon van den Boom

Leon van den Boom was engaged by BC Partners as a senior advisor in 2014 and brings a wealth of experience across management consulting and corporate finance. Leon currently serves on the non-executive boards of Intergamma (chairman), FD Media Group (Chairman), Jumbo Food Group and a few other companies. In the past he has also been a board member at listed companies including Exact, ASMI, Blue Fox Enterprises and Hydratec as well as at private companies including Vanderlande Industries, RFS (Wehkamp) and C1000 food retail. Previously, he founded and acted as Managing Partner for 11 years at Van Den Boom Group, the largest independent mid-market corporate finance group in the Netherlands, which was sold to NIBC Bank in 2000. He served on NIBC’s executive board for two years. He started his career at the University of Washington, followed by five years with ABN Bank, Van den Boom Group and NIBC.

Norman Lamont was engaged by BC Partners as a senior advisor in 2013. Lord Lamont is also a director or advisor to a number of companies in the financial sector including Stanhope Capital, Jupiter European Opportunities Trust and the Small Companies Dividend Trust. He was Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1990–1993 and an MP for 25 years. He was Chairman of the EU Finance Ministers in 1992 and the G7 Finance Ministers in 1993. He has been a member of the House of Lords since 1998 and he was previously a director of NM Rothschild and Rothschild Asset Management, and an advisor to Monsanto and the Western Union Corporation. He has a degree in economics from Cambridge University and was President of the Cambridge Union.
