In December 2012, BCEC IX acquired Accudyne Industries, formerly Hamilton Sundstrand Industrial, a division of United Technologies Corp. in equal partnership with The Carlyle Group.

At acquisition Accudyne Industries was a leading manufacturer and supplier of highly-engineered pure play flow control pumps, going to market under the Milton Roy (“PFS”) / Milton Roy and Sundyne family of brands, and additional air commpressors under the Sullair brand.

The Sullair air compression segment was sold to Hitachi in July 2017, and in February 2019, Ingersoll-Rand Plc signed a binding agreement to acquire PFS/Milton Roy.
