In April 2014 BCEC IX acquired CarTrawler, a fast growing online car rental aggregator with a unique online technology and booking platform that connects more than 1,000 car rental suppliers with end consumers and operates from more than 30,000 locations across the globe.

CarTrawler has now developed into offering not only car rental services, but also online booking for taxis, rail and coach services.
