Eugene Fife

Eugene Fife was engaged by BC Partners as an operating advisor in 2010 and brings more than 30 years of executive management, consulting and operations experience. Within the BC Partners portfolio, Mr Fife serves as a director on the boards of Accudyne Industries and Suddenlink, and serves as chair of the Audit Committee at Suddenlink. Previously, Mr. Fife was non-executive Chairman of the Eclipsys Corporation, a leading provider of medical information software used by more than 1,500 healthcare facilities; and served as director of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc., a practice management and electronic health record technology provider who subsequently acquired Eclipsys; Caterpillar, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbine and Office Depot. He is also the founding principal of Vawter Capital, LLC, a private investment firm. Previously, Mr. Fife was a general partner of Goldman Sachs & Co., where he served as a member of the management committee and as chairman of Goldman Sachs International. During his 26 years with Goldman Sachs, Mr. Fife played a pivotal role establishing Goldman Sachs in Europe where he spent 10 years based out of London. He was also instrumental in establishing Goldman Sachs presence in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He remains a senior director of Goldman Sachs. He has participated in a number of forums and conferences regarding business ethics and corporate audit and governance issues.

Education:

Masters degree from the University of Southern California and a BA in business administration from Virginia Tech
