BC Partners Real Estate acquired an unencumbered, 30-asset / ~2,300-bed budget hotel portfolio in Germany from AccorInvest, with an immediate leaseback to leading European operator B&B Hotels who operate and reposition the hotels.
The hotels are operated under long-term, CPI-indexed fixed lease agreements. The portfolio is currently being extensively refurbished to fulfil highest possible ESG-standards and cater to B&B Hotels’ product quality standards.
The German budget hotel market demonstrates strong resilience against the current economic backdrop and continues to deliver strong, consistent top-line growth with limited downside cost-risk.
