In June 2021, BCPERE I completed the acquisition of Tempelhofer Ufer 1, an off-market characterful office repositioning and development opportunity in the trendy district of Kreuzberg, Berlin.

The asset is an iconic existing freehold property (4800 sqm) built in 1902 in central Berlin with an existing state-of-the-art office building permit for an extension in its backyard. Given the office outlook in Berlin, BCPRE is currently repositioning the new built section of the project as a serviced apartment building.

The property sits between the desirable inner city ‘live-and-work’ neighbourhood of Kreuzberg and Berlin’s traditional central business and government district, Mitte. It overlooks the Landwehr Canal and has excellent public transport links.
