Recapitalisations
Today’s interest rate environment has made many capital structures no longer sustainable. We believe that this need for recapitalisation is creating attractive investment opportunities.
On the asset level, motivated sellers are continuing to sell good assets at attractive risk-adjusted prices that can be repositioned into high-quality liquid products while maintaining secured cash flows throughout the business plan.
On the corporate side, fundamentally sound, well-run companies require capital to reset their balance sheets and to be able to accelerate their growth in a market at the trough of the cycle and with often fundamentally less competition.
