Stefano Ferraresi

Stefano joined BC Partners in 2002. He is a Partner in the Private Equity team based in London, a member of the Management Committee, and a rotating member of the Private Equity Investment Committee.

Stefano leads the Firm’s coverage of the Industrials sector, with regional responsibility for Italy, and led BC Partners’ investments in IMA, Fedrigoni, Forno d’Asolo, Dental Pro and Cigierre.

Previously, Stefano worked in the European Leveraged Finance Division at Merrill Lynch. Prior to this, he was part of the European High Yield Origination team at Barclays Capital.

Nikos Stathopoulos

Chairman, Europe, Member of the Management Committee

Nikos joined BC Partners in 2005. He is Chairman, Europe, a permanent member of the Management Committee, a permanent member of the Private Equity Investment Committee, Chairs the Private Equity Exit Committee and plays an active role in developing the Firm’s strategy, recruiting talent, sourcing investment opportunities, and portfolio company operating reviews.

Nikos brings nearly three decades of experience in private equity across a number of sector and geographies. He leads the Telecom and Media investment vertical in Europe and has led several investments for the Firm including Acuris, Pharmathen, ComHem, United Group, and Springer Nature.

Previously, Nikos was a Partner at Apax Partners in London, and prior to this worked at the Boston Consulting Group in London.
