Raymond Svider

Chairman of BC Partners, Chairman of the Management Committee

Raymond joined BC Partners in 1992. He is Chairman of the Firm, Chairman of the Management Committee and the Private Equity Investment Committee. Alongside shaping the Firm’s strategy, Raymond continues to source new investment opportunities and remains actively involved in portfolio company operating reviews.

He has over three decades of investing experience across a range of sectors and geographies and has led several of the Firm’s transactions including UnityMedia, Suddenlink/Cablevision, PetSmart, Chewy, Madison Logic and Valtech. Raymond leads private equity coverage of the Telecom and Media sector in North America.

Previously, Raymond worked in investment banking at Wasserstein Perella in New York and Paris, and prior to this worked at the Boston Consulting Group in Chicago.

Previously, Lakshman was Chief Information Officer at Next Era Energy Inc. and AES Corporation, both Fortune 200 companies. Prior to this, he was a Partner at Capgemini and has also advised several early and mid-stage companies leveraging his operating, consulting, and industry background.
